Each month we're hoping to share a free teaching resource with our readers: each resource will help foster metacognition and/or self-regulated learning behaviours in your students (11-16).
This month's resource is a straightforward reading comprehension task that introduces and explains the idea of metacognition to students. It includes both comprehension and personal-reflection tasks for students to engage in and is a straightforward way of introducing metacognition to your classes.
